Roger Sevrin Bruland

NRK

Roger Sevrin Bruland has been working as a foreign affairs journalist of the Norwegian public broadcasting company Norsk Rikskringkasting (NRK) for the past ten years, covering mostly the Balkans and the Middle East. However, his work has taken him to other places too, including to Thailand to cover the Tham Luang cave rescue. He covers breaking news and does in-depth features.

At NRK, he is a member of a unit that works for all three NRK publishing platforms: TV, radio and the internet. He is one of the few who work as videojournalists and also edit complete stories.

He studied international affairs at the American University in Cairo and the University of Aberdeen. Before becoming a journalist he worked as a NATO peacekeeper in the Former Yugoslavia in the 1990s.
