Boštjan Anžin je svojo novinarsko pot začel na komercialni televiziji, od koder se je premaknil na javno televizijo. Devet let je bil dopisnik iz Berlina, tudi urednikoval je, bil je voditelj Poročil, Dnevnika, Svetovnih izzivov in Tarče. Pred dvema letoma je bil na razpisu javne televizije izbran za dopisnika z Balkana, v tej vlogi pa je od blizu spremljal tudi begunsko krizo. Nemška medijska fundacija Civis je junija letos med skoraj 800 televizijskim prispevki, oddajami in filmi v kategoriji Kratki program na drugo mesto uvrstila prav njegov prispevek o nevzdržnih razmerah, v katerih je sredi zime v Beogradu živelo na stotine beguncev.

Boštjan Anžin began his journalistic career working for the commercial television and then moved to public television. He was a correspondent from Berlin for nine years, he was also an editor, he hosted the informative programs Poročila and Dnevnik, the World Challenges and Tarča. Two years ago, he was selected by the public television to become the correspondent from the Balkans, and in this role, he also reported on the refugee crisis. In June 2017 the German media foundation Civis awarded him the silver prize for his report on the terrible conditions in which hundreds of refugees lived in Belgrade in the middle of winter. His work was chosen for the award among 800 television broadcasts and films.
